Sarah Thompson, Director, has worked at a Senior Executive level in a diverse range of industries including investment banking, financial services, insurance, telecommunications, energy / power and trustee services. She is experienced in the development and implementation of strategic plans with a particular emphasis on business change management / transformation. She is also an Accredited Trainer for the TMS team management tools.

She has lived in New Zealand for the last fifteen years, returning to the UK with her husband in April 2006 fro three years to take up a business opportunity in the travel industry.

Sarah is also a Director of Darjeeling Tours Limited, a Special interest travel company specialising in holidays to India.

Some projects

 - Led the integration of nine retail gas and electricity companies, including personnel, multiple call centres, operational and IT systems issues, within an extremely aggressive timeframe (programme management).

 - Led a major business process re-engineering project in the Operations division of a trust company

 - Developed business strategy for trustee company which led to a turnaround from four years of losses to profitability.

 - Led the development of an e-business strategy and successfully managed the programme to implement a fully integrated website for energy company, including development/implementation of new operational back-end processes

 - Developed and led a new fast-track approach to product development a large telecommunications company, including embedding new processes and ways of thinking.

 - Successfully developed and marketed a unit trust administration (outsourcing) product – including software for a leading merchant bank.

 - Project managed a major system implementation of new PEPs software, including business process re-engineering, analysis.

 - Led many business re-organisations, focusing on impact analysis, talent and knowledge retention, communications and change management issues.
